New Audiobook and A Status Checkin

Last month Acheron Salvation was released. I spent the rest of April planning Book 12 in the First Colony series. I like how the story is shaping up.

Acheron Salvation is now available as an Audiobook. Phil Thron continues to deliver an outstanding performance in narrating these books. I couldn’t be more pleased. You can listen to the sample via the link below.

Quinton Aldren thought he could leave his past behind him . . . He was wrong.

First came the development of a Personality Matrix Construct—PMC, transferring human consciousness into a machine. It changed the galaxy and the way wars were fought. Then something went wrong with PMCs and the Federation Wars toppled the galactic order. PMCs became a menace to be hunted and exterminated.

Quinton Aldren is a PMC. His consciousness was uploaded and stored over a century ago, before the Federation Wars. All Quinton wants is to leave his past behind, but the broadcasts keep occurring. More PMCs are coming online, and not all of them are entirely stable. Federation War machines are on the hunt for them, and they don’t care who gets in their way.

What's Next?

I'm nearly finished with planning First Colony Book 12, and I expect to begin writing it next week. Book 12 will take place several years after the events that transpired in the previous book. I don’t have a title for the book yet. Soon. Assuming no major life challenges, I plan to have Book 12 available in Mid-July. The audiobook will be out a few months after that. I'm looking forward to writing it. We'll see some older characters return and some new ones. I think you'll enjoy it.

Future Books – I’ll begin working on the Book 3 in the Federation Chronicles in August. If you've read Acheron Salvation (Book 2) there were several big reveals that I'm eager to explore in the 3rd book.

As always, thank you for reading my work.

  1. I’m enjoying your books. Waiting for third book of “ Acheron “ series. Read nine of the First Colony series. I have to catch up with ten and eleven. They’re on nightstand awaiting my attention! I really liked the Ascension series.
It makes me happy to know that you have found your passion! Keep writing, you’re very good at it!

  2. I have been a SF fan since the original Star Trek series aired when I was a child. I cut my first SF reading teeth in my late teens on Azimov’s Foundation series and have been hooked on them ever since. I look for writers who write their series of books over spans of time using innovative and imaginative plot lines. I came across your First Colony series and was hooked! Since I read the first book, Genesis, in March of this year I quickly assimilated the entire series as well as the entire Ascension series and Federation Chronicles. My dad is now reading them all as well.
I have never written an author before but wanted to give you feedback and encourage you to keep developing all of your series as they are very entertaining! I look forward to each of your next books, and wish you good luck following your passion.
